Terms and Conditions for Youth Energy University All-Inclusive College Tour
Effective Date: June 7, 2024
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your ("Parent," "Guardian," "You") registration and payment for your child ("Student") to participate in the Youth Energy University ("YEU," "We," "Us," "Our") All-Inclusive College Tour to Illinois, scheduled for July 14th and 15th (the "Tour"). By completing the registration and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
1. Student Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Tour, a Student must meet the following requirements at the time of the Tour:

Be at least thirteen (13) years of age.

Maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
By completing the registration, you represent and warrant that the Student meets these eligibility requirements. YEU reserves the right to request verification of the Student's age and GPA.
2. Registration and Payment
Registration for the Tour is subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment. The total cost of the all-inclusive tour is [Insert Total Cost Here]. This fee covers transportation, lodging, meals, and all scheduled tour activities.
Payments shall be made through our secure online payment portal on our landing page.
3. Refund Policy
If a Parent or Guardian registers and pays for a Student who does not meet the eligibility requirements outlined in Section 1, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued, less a [Insert Percentage, e.g., 5%] administrative processing fee. 4. Cancellation by Parent/Guardian
Should you choose to cancel your Student's registration for any reason other than ineligibility, the following refund schedule will apply:

5. Tour Cancellation or Modification
YEU reserves the right to cancel or modify the Tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or other events beyond our reasonable control. In the event of a cancellation by YEU, you will be notified promptly, and a full refund will be issued.
6. Student Code of Conduct
All Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the Tour. A detailed Code of Conduct will be provided to all registered participants and their Parents/Guardians. This will include rules regarding behavior, curfew, and interactions with other participants, chaperones, and university staff.
Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the Tour at the Parent's/Guardian's expense, with no refund.
7. Medical Authorization
By agreeing to these terms, you authorize YEU staff and its designated chaperones to obtain medical treatment for the Student in the event of an emergency. You further agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred. You will be required to complete a more detailed medical information and release form prior to the Tour.
8. Liability and Indemnification
While YEU will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all Students, participation in the Tour involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Youth Energy University, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, losses, or expenses of any nature whatsoever arising from the Student's participation in the Tour, except for those arising from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of YEU.
9. Photo and Video Release
You grant Youth Energy University permission to use photographs and/or videos taken of the Student during the Tour in its publications, on its website, and in other promotional materials without further consideration or compensation. If you do not agree to this release, please notify us in writing at [Insert Email Address].
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in [Insert County, e.g., Dane County], Wisconsin, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Youth Energy University with respect to the Tour and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and us.
